Default 1979 Civic CVCC Owner's Manual

Just happened to find this owner's manual (not shop manual) in an antique mall today. Any interest in me scanning it for anyone here? I can drag the scanner out if there is.

You can find them all day on Ebay, dude. Cool you found one locally as I had to do the Ebay thing to get mine.

Not trying to get any cool points. Just offering to help if anyone needs it. Wasn't in the market for it in particular. I just like to collect Honda stuff and happened to randomly find this, so I figured I'd offer to help if anyone needed it.

The pet names don't really help you sound like you're just trying to help me out.

No pet names here, man. If I hurt your feelings over this, my apologies. But I can't apologize for you taking this that serious. I don't see anywhere that I led you into your train of thought so why not just abandon this thread if you're that caught up in it?

It kills me how people don't even know how to be appreciative of someone just trying to help. You probabaly didn't need the Noob calling you "dude" or explaining that they can be found on ebay. Hey "Noob"...I would have to PAY for one on ebay. This guy is trying to help anyone at a cost of 0. These forums just kill me sometimes...all types on here

NOFX- Thanks for trying to help folks out. I appreciate it

YOU couldn't be more right. Too many sensitive people showing up. Getting a bit too riled up over a simple comment.

You're welcome and thank you.

Sometimes we have to remember that text can be a bit ambiguous. It's very easy to assign an attitude to a post even if the post wasn't meant to have an attitude. On the other hand, I've learned to watch what I say online since it's so easy to miscommunicate.

My feelings aren't hurt. I'm more confused over the continual use of pet names even after it was pointed out that it makes a post seem negative.

Exactly. My post, and I stated this after your first reply to me, wasn't intended, in any way, to be insulting. I even followed up by saying that it was cool you were able to find one locally.

I'm equally confused on the "pet names" as I haven't been able to figure out what you're referring to.

Your first post, instead of just letting me know that these manuals are easy to find for sale, came across as that I was bragging for finding this manual. I was merely trying to help people if they would like the help.

I collect Honda literature and like to help people. So... I figured I'd offer to help.

You might as well have come out and called me "son" or "boy".

Either way, I'm done with this whole thing.

If anyone would like a copy of anything from the manual, feel free to PM me and I'll scan those pages for you.

As I stated, several times, it wasn't meant that way.

Hmmm. "Dude" and "fella" are far from pet names. But call it what you want, I guess, man.
