We will be there for sure. I've been to this track numberous times to spectate but always wanted to race there. I proposed to my girlfriend at the beach when we she thought we were down there for a race and this event is the weekend before we get married so we are both stoked about going to hit up the beach sat and race sun. plus it's a northeast race
/\ Niiiice!
I think I'm bringing my wife to this event to hit up the beaches after the show. There's oil on all the beaches on my side right now :-(

Its for sure a very nice track they keep it up well hopefully they will do some good prep for us and make it nice and sticky. I hope to be racing the hatch in this event and stay away from Va beach sucks big time take the extra hour and hit the carolina beachs much better IMHO
yeah I was wondering how close you guys were to all of that mess. Let me know if you and the wife will be around anytime saturday go hit up the beach and grab some dinner if there's time.

VMP FTW!!!
Definitely a superb track, NHRA, IHRA & ADRL sanctioned, & one of the top ten tracks in the US. I'll definitely be there, live about 10 minutes away.
Now...if only we can get NSCRA there next year...

The more, the merrier!
We haven't had a sanctioned import event since NOPI pulled the plug in '08, leaving all them racers & sponsors high & dry.
I get bored racing a thousand domestic cars on street points events on Friday night. Imports are a shortage at VMP.

Actually no, if you are eliminated you can only run TnT, not brackets. If you do not qualify for a heads up class though, THEN you can run brackets.
