speed odometer isnt working
i need help big time with this i jus got my new axles in to drive my ef around since i jus installed a 5spdtranny with a stage 4 clutch and i dont know much about hondas but i was wondering how can i find if my speed odometer is connected to my engine because im itching to find out how fast my needle moves to 60
I was told when I posted my question asking about a speedo to take the cluster off and leave the speedo cable out....drive it and if the piece inside the cable is turning it is good you just have to make sure it is actually connected to the cluster. If not check where it meets everything to make sure it's attatched. If it's attached and not working replace
it doesn't connect to your engine. it connects to your transmission. look for a cable that's coming out of your firewall above your clutch cable and it goes to the speed sensor on top of your transmission.
cool so how do i take the speedo out? i mean i ran my car last night an raced a turbo diesel truck an beat it just when my check engine came on but when i got to a place to grab something to eat an got in my car an turned it on it was idling wayy to high ppl thought i was showing off but really i wasnt. i mean would it have to with me swapping out the 4spd tranny to put in a 5spdtranny st4 clutch?
