i have a 91 civic dx i swapped out the motor for a b16. we did all the wiring conversion for the mpfi, but i took the wiring harness out of the car. the one that goes under the dash to the fuse box and back out to the motor. now that i put it back in everything is backwards. with the key out of the car i have a check engine light battery light and oil light. if i turn on the wipers then hit the brakes then the wipers start goin(without the key even in the car) nothing works and i have no idea what to do. everybody i know has gone though and through the wiring and has no idea. please help!!!!

sounds like u either mixed up a lot of the clips.........or u car has a ghost


--my solution to u is.....get a complete new wiring harness from another car or just start switching clips

 

I took my harness out too. I think there is only a couple of plugs that you could have backwards.( I might be way off) But if I remember most wont plug in unless they are the right one.

 

Besides Hybrid-Honda is there anywhere else where they show how to do the TPI to MPFI?? I'm having a lot of trouble w/ my wiring as well, anyone in the Maryland area know how to do the wiring, I'll pay big bucks to wire up my B16.
