Ok, on to the car heres a quick breakdown on it:

1997 BMW 540i.
Supercharged 4.4L V8.
five-speed A5S 560Z automatic transmission.
Body: 116,000 miles.
Drivetrain: 26,000 miles (it was fully rebuilt, also transmission)
*A 1997 was chosen for this build due to the fact that they had the best motors. Pre-Vanos FTW.
*Parts all add up to about $40,000 not including labor.
Engine has a VF engineering vortech supercharging kit.
Currently running at 7psi, which is a very safe tune.It is good for 410 horsies at the crank. Car can easily be (and actually should be) running at 9 psi, but since there is no need for the extra power I haven't upped the boost. But this can easily be done by new owner if you wish to do so.

Engine was FULLY rebuilt, and i mean FULLY. top and bottom.
Done by a very prestigious shop in SoCal.
Car was boosted about 20,000 miles ago.

Now, the exterior:
EVERYTHING is AC Schnitzer, even the mirrors.
All legit. For those who aren't too familiar with the euro scene, These effin parts are way expensive.
Front bumper is OEM M5, with special brake inlets built in, and a lil custom "ram air" inlet made by the shop.
VERY aggressive look, and all done EXTREMELY clean.

Interior:
Wood all swapped to aluminium.
E-Brake AC Schnitzer.

Ice:
Alpine media receiver.
Sub woofer/EQ controls on roof.
Custom built fiberglass sound system with one sub woofer in the trunk.
All component speakers have also been upgraded.

Suspension:
car is sitting on AC Schnitzer springs.

Exhaust:
AC Schnitzer exhaust.
Some very special cats that allow car to perform beautifully while maintaining legality in california. (goddamn cat set up ran almost 2k)

Rims:
19 inch AC Schnitzer Type II painted black.

Brakes:
Brembo Big Brake kit.

*Now, im pretty sure theres alot of stuff im forgetting.
All in all there is over $40,000 in parts that went into this build.
And god knows how many hours of work.

So what am i looking to get?
In all honesty I am not really looking to sell for cash, but if you really wanna buy it PM me an offer.
More than anything i want a nice built subbie, BUT I wil entertain other offers, also cars+cash will be considered.

In all honesty feel free to shoot over an offer, my car is one of those rare dream builds, all ACS legit parts where used, it is very dificult to get any of that, i guess its like those fully legit JDM hondas. (except of the euro world)

All in all its an amazing car, and you will never ever ever see anyone with the same build (atleast not in the states)

So just make the offer, worse that can happen ill say no.

 

Bump! i have a 97 528i!

Not as near as powerful at a 540i v8. Vortech supercharged.. Haha.. ikm running all motor.. with intake filter and exhaust.. .. i got a v6 and it pulls likke a Mother ..

oh i got a 02-03 full body conversion.. thats why it Looks sexier than normal 97-01 528's

nice e39...... and yeah those inline 6 engines are pretty fast even in our big fat comfy cars.

Any way, car is located in SAN DIEGO to be exact, got my eye on a few cars, so im looking to sell quick, but as i said i would love to get car+cash since i did loose my other car (left it parked outside and some drunk idiot totalled it) and i hate only having one car, makes life hard for me and my girl.

My other car was an almost mint condition Benz 190 evo, with the cosworth built engine and the get rag transmission....

I still cringe when i think about that day.........
It was my dad's old car, i grew up with it, and it was completely demolished by the idiot that rear ended it. total loss.

And yes i agree, its much sexier/comfier/did i mention sexier than a skyline haha (no offence)
