so i have a stock honda SI cd player with the harness im trying to install on my 94 eg hatch so when i hook up power and ground just to see if it worked there's a red light that starts to blink i belive it says security or something like that


i was wondering if anybody has done this and made it work.

You need the security code for the radio.There may be someone on here that can get it for you but the dealer requires a vin number in order to give you the code.

 

ok got code and made it work have 3 positive wires can not figure out how to make it stay on (memory) and also got hot as hellllll.

was wondering if anyone have a wiring diagram so i get this right sure someone has it plesase hook it up.

i dont recommend using the memory wire as a power wire. yes, it can run off it but it's not supposed to for a reason, it's not supposed to be able to power much. just hook everything up properly, get a couple harnesses and plugs if you have to, you don't want something coming back and biting ya in the long run, ya know?

 

so got wires figured out thanx but i think theres more to it than that

got it hooked up plays and all just fine but theres a little problem deck gets hot as hell and wind noise come from speakers not when playing but when off (key off not in switch)


any one?
