Default how to test LSD
i see a post of a broken one, and the trany i got has trashed synchros. how can i test the LSD to see if it is stil intact or nt

I think the only way to be positve it has one , if it isnt stamped on the tranny itself, is to pop out the axles and you should be able to see all the way through. open light on each side.

i put the motor in. it had an lsd in the trans. i just tested it, and it looks fine
im thinking i just hit it so hard that i got both tires spinning accidnetally :D

Cant you jack up the car, spin one tire by hand and see if the other spins? That should tell if the gears are good atleast.

jack the car up. spin one front wheel. if the other one spins the same way, then LSD. if it spins the other way, then no LSD.
