I decided to finally make a build thread on My 1990 civic si Ed(5spd) I got it for $400.I sold the Acura 14" alloy wheels off it for $200.Only having spent $200 on this car so Far I am very happy. Some of the goodies that came with it were Koni yellows,4 wheel disc brakes(10.3 inch rotors in the front,95 si) and Da rear rotors as well as a New Radiator, distributor and battery.I am working on a budget, feel free to comment,Matt.

interior has been taken out and will be shampooed on Wednesday.

well my plan it to spend under $1000 and have the rust and motor rebuilt/fixed as well.I just found out today the Car used to be turbo, which kinda scares me.I went to do a Oil change and to my surprise The oil pan was tapped in the Front and just had a Plug barely sitting over the connector. It has the Si stock d16a6 motor in It and the guy thought it burned a ton of oil because, which I just found out the oil pan Was leaking and the Valve cover sparkplug tube seals were all cracked lol. I Cannot give enough praise to Koni, what a great suspesion/shock/strut they make. This car handles very well and stops on a dime.I will post more pictures up later,Matt
I see your future... I see you getting a windshield washer tank and hose to hook it up.
Either they swapped the engine wiring harness/ran low boost/never actually turboed it.
the Map sensor on the firewall is stock and the wires are not spliced into for a high psi map sensor so if it was boosted it was not over ~10psi boost. I lean towards the turbo kit never being finished. although the new radiator hmm I had a head gasket go (on boost) and it broke the raidiator in an instant.
Oh. what is the blue thing/hose right buy the driver side shock tower mount

Before:

After:

The person I bought it Off didn't think they needed a winshield washer fluid reservoir( Save weight lmao) So I bought a tank and lines for it as well.
Hood was dirty so I took It off and cleaned it

it's attached at the back of the block right above the oil filter,And it a Russel stainless steel line so probably something for the turbo setup that was previously on it.Thanks for the comments guys,Matt

great deal. i'd just swap in another d16 because they're so cheap now. I spent around $200 to rebuild mine and it was just new rings and valve seals

This guy traded a 1991 blazer for the civic I have now,He sold me the civic and bought a 1999 Cavalier z24 lol. I'm keeping the d16a6 in it and hope to track it a few times In the following months. It all depends on how much a track legal cage would cost as well as a intermediate auto cross license etc,Matt.

probably will do What you did plus water pump and timing belt.I'm going to give it a Compression test in the next few days and then I'll know more,Matt.
It looks/sounds like and oil feed line for the turbo which means if its not capped it could be squirting oil out maybe that's why the hood was so dirty but you should either cap it if its not already or remove it all together.
