Is the MAC solenoid 'open' or 'closed'
I have only been able to get it to work in 'open'
By doing this, my table will not work since with increased Duty cycle the boost level decreaes, is this wright??
Table will not allow me to have increasing Duty with decreasing boost levels
Can someone post a pic of their initial setup with the MAC solenoid, I can tune and dial in after that, thanks.

how is your mac set up?
port 1 (left port) should go to top port of WG.
port 2 (right port) should go to bottom of WG. pressure source from turbo or manifold T's into it.
port 3 (middle) is vent.
or if you are running it 2-port, left port goes to bottom of WG.
middle port goes to turbo or manifold source
right port vents

Mine is set to normally closed and 1 goes to the turbo pressure source and the bottom of the gate. 2 is a vent, and three hooks to the top of the gate. Works perfect.

It's just a solenoid, it opens and closes. If it wasn't working right then the output of the ecu was inverted for how it was plumbed. Any solenoid will work either way as long as it's plumbed correctly and the output correct on the ecu.
some of the mack valves will only work one way tony i think norm open depends on the part number you can get them with a check valve and they look the same on the out side
Interesting, never seen that. If you have the Common and Normally Closed port switched it will work with the solenoid off but not work with it on.
not 100 percent sure was on the phone with the place i buy them from Tuesday and the guy said they didn't have part num xxx but they had part num xxx said it was the same just had to run it norm open because of the check valve he went into detail but i was working on something and really didn't pay attention. he said he had sold a bunch of them to a company using them for boost control so I'm sure there floating around

100% closed at 0% duty cycle. change to variable fequency to 34. port1 goes to bottom of wastegate and t'd to manifold or compressor reference, port2 goes to the top of wastegates and port3 is a vent.
