Default top hat question(s)

when adding top hats, is it logical to add them on both front and rear setups?

You only need them in the front. The front shocks travel more than the rear, granted you could put them in the rear but it would be over kill.

No not necessarily. Shock travel isn't equal front and rear. You need it more in the front but reducing droop length in the rear would be an added benefit if you used the top hats in the rear.
