RE-installing crower valve spring/retainers HELP
so i put new valves and valve seals in my head, and upgraded LCA's, and during disasemble, i found some of the inner springs in backward from the other...
the inner springs have shorter coils at one end, all of the exhaust valves had the shorter windings or spring at the bottom, and 4 of the intakes were the same as exhast and the other 4 were shorter windings at the top....
WHICH WAY DO THEY GO? lol dont wanta put in wrong and have coil bind...

Call Crower and I'm sure they'd be happy to instruct you.
IMHO the wider coil spacing should be closer to the retainer and not the seat. Less reciprocating weight and just makes sense for the wider coils to be closer to the area of movement.
