I have a 92 lx automatic accord coupe and have a question about the belts. I kno there is a belt called a serpentine belt, which seems to control several things, but what i am wondering about is the Belt on the right side of engine, the top is covered and the bottom is on on a large pulley, seems to be the only belt and pulley,not multiple pulleys belt on this pully is sqealing bad,have just bought the car and old owner said he had just replaced all the belts, but not sure if he knew how to do it right. Can this belt be adjusted ???

 

Yes, it can be adjusted. There's one pulley, and there should be 2 belts on it. One goes through the power steering and the other one is for the alternator (and your AC if you have it).
Adjustment is fairly easy.

Thanx Guys, it was for sure the alt.belt. I found the adjustments and its no longer squealing.Little turns seemed to do it... thanx again
