Default Replacing fuel injector

Hello everyone,

I was hoping someone could help me out. I need to replace the fuel injector in my number 3 cylinder on a 06 Civic EX. I've never replaced an injector before so was just wondering what the process is and which is the number one cylinder on this engine. Also noticed there's not much room above where the fuel rail is located and was wondering if it's possible to do this without disassembling the plastic cowling above it. I appreciate any help or suggestions.

Thanks,
KS

take the fuel rail off and take out the injector. watchout for the o ring at the end make sure you lubricate the injector ring before you put it back in.

Well I got the injector changed out, but I lost one of the clips that holds the injector to the rail. Is it ok to drive without the one clip?
