Default 97 Accord Exhaust Help

My moms 97 accord exhaust is rusting and it pretty much fell apart, so I am looking for a CHEAP exhaust system that I can hook up.

I went to an exhaust shop before but they pretty much tried to screw her over so I most likely wont be going back to any exhaust shop.

Anyways I just want to know, which exhaust system are you guys using? I am looking to spend 200-300$.

Has anybody had any luck with these systems?? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/94-97...ht_3610wt_1026

Alot of people get those exhausts. It should be fine, but it will be LOUD. The silencer will help, but for the price its a good deal. Hell, even cut off the muffler and have a quite one welded on.

I you can get the exhaust re-done from the cat back for less than 150 in some places. Hell, you just visited one shop and you're already giving up?!

That exhaust has a fart can as a muffler. Its very loud and annoying to other drivers. And does not sound so great inside the car.

You'd probably be happy with that setup. Might have to get different gaskets because you never know what an ebay seller will give you, but other than that it should be alright.

I'd say look at vibrant, APEXi WSII, Greddy EVO. All those can sound nice.

I have a stock EX axleback thats practically brand new. I used it for about 2 months. I would use that cheap ebay kit for piping and use my axleback. It bolted up to my catback piping fine when I needed to pass inspection.
