SUP HONDA PEEPS. I have been searching the net for information on some mods im trying to do but cant find **** maybe someone here can help.
1. I am trying to rewire my bumber lights on my 95 Cord to work as foglights. I want to wrie them CLEAN, so the blinkers still operate and at the same speed. I am trying to find anything on this topic but find mods for nissans, if there is anyone that has info, weblink, skecthes, ANYTHING please let me know. I know someone out there has done this.
2. I want to put in lights on my trunk similar to that of the lexus. I know I saw someone selling something either a converstion kit or a remodelled trunk. Again I have searched the net for any info but I can't seem to find it anymore. I think this mod would look killer on any Cord. Does anyone know anyone thats done this??? IF so help a HONDA CREW out bro.
3. I KNOW I KNOW this is like some novel or something. Lastly I've been doing alot of shopping on coil overs/springs. I need some feedback on owners of 95 LX Cords who have bought coil overs and shocks. I am trying to stay low budget and keep a good ride. Any help??? I have come across several sites with prices but aren't sure if they are good. MAYBE SOMEONE WITH MORE EXPERIENCE THAN ME CAN HELP. Some deals I saw were: Tokico shocks & springs for 420; Progress springs $150; Sptint $159; See I dont know which brand goes good with Hondas and whether to go srpings or coil overs. Any info would be great
THANKS NUFF SAID, IM OUT

Springs H&R $160
im not much for coilovers unless you buy a full setup like apexi's.
and about your light questions i wouldnt know, lights are lights and they all emit light.
1. ive done that rewire on my car. all you have to do is swap the wires from the bumper lenses and the wires from the corner turn signal. its pretty simple .. just dont short any wires.. good luck
i've got Ground Control coilovers on my 94 lx and it rides nicely...a little bouncy at times, but it's stiff in the corners...i would recomend them to you!

alright bro, im in a real jam now...anyways i had an idea to get two wire harnesses like the bumber lights from another junk accord and spliced into the turn signal.
So I had the bumbers and turn signals blinking. Looked real nice and I was happy.
Next day or at some point during the night the turn signals would not work, but the reaars did.
Thinking I blew a light, I checked the bulbs and they were okay.
Anyways I have no clue what the hell I did, but I set up the wires and lights back to the way it used to be and the bumper lights, but the turn signals in the headlights don't.
Any clues cause I have no idea
Well besides my day sucking hardcore from work, I'm gonna get stupified drunk
PEACE

i had a 94 lx. i tried what you did except my blinkers turned fog lights stayed on constantly. i had to disconnect the wire. that was in 99. last november i tried to redo them and the lights still stayed on. i think it might be your blinker control module. at least that was what a honda service writer told me. if you notice whenever you blow a turn signal lamp your indicators blink fast. the blinker module is looking for a particular load.if a lamp is missing or you try to hook up a bigger load on a particular circuit then its not going to behave properly. there is a way do it but i cant find the website. good luck
as for your shocks, i had blue tokicos and h&r springs on mine for 4 years and put over 160k miles on them. they got pretty bouncy after the first year. buddy of mine had progress on his. softer than the h&r, and they sucked for hard cornering. leave the sprints alone. the civic guys seem to swear by groung control coil overs and kyb shocks. i have skunk2s on my si and they are stifff.

Yeah I thought it might of been the fuses too
So I checked under the dash and also under the hood and they all checked out
The blinker timing seems to be working fine, but it doesn't blink...DOH
The bulbs check out, and I am wondering about the control module....Do you have any idea how I can check it or where it is???
Dam its a good think you told me about the sprints and progress, I was thinking of getting those....I talked to a guy about trying to get a package deal of tokico shocks with DropZone (formerly Weapon R) coil overs for $489 not bad. I am going in to talk to him and see if theres anything he can do.
This blinker problem is driving me nutz
Thanks for the help bro

There's another way to do this and is very clean.
You have to buy a trailer hitch kit.
It is used for single filament bulb, normally for the parking light and turning light.
It cost 15 bucks at your local auto shops.
It works great, i did it on my crx.
I just got a 96 accord, i will get back to you when i find the part # and the model of the trailer hitch kit.

No dont know about that.
But the kit is a trailer hitch kit, just go to the trailer section of any local store.
its a small black box with wires coming from both ends.
one end says to the car, the other end says to the trailer
on the car side it has wires for: turn, brake, park, ground
on the trailer side it has wires for: turn/brake, park, ground
(turn/brake is one wire)
so what i do is hook up the brake wire to the park wire of the car and the turn/brake wire to the bumper light.
therefore you just converted that bumper light to turn/park.
