Default 1988 Accord hatch LS/Vtec, Type R brakes, Full suspension

Previously I had an 86 Accord hatch with all this on it. The car was wrecked in the rear, so I am swapping everything to the new body. The suspension, and brake were easy, but the engine harness is different from 86 to 88 so I am working on that right now. I am hoping to make this swap look like it came from the factory that way. This time keeping A/C and Cruise, but no P/S. So here are the pics!

Here is the original hatch

Started swapping running gear

And the new swap in progress

Semi cleaned the engine bay, and installed the mounts. Had to move the brake lines up, the rear mount rest right on them.

It's in

Mocking up intake, and breather box. Need to make a front mount as well. Then need to install the compressor.

Nice project. I wonder what the curb weight on those chases are.

Very interesting swap. I was waiting for someone to do a swap into the older accords since I read about it. Keep up the good work. Props

LXi Hatchback (MT) 2498lbs - with the original cast iron 2 liter engine. The B-series seems to be a little lighter.
