what was so big about the Mugen Pros anyways?

I mean what would make someone want to buy this car and then ship it all the way to the US?

There was nothing mechcanically special about the Mugen Pro, it was mostly cosmetic stuff. This car is significant for a couple of reasons. The body kit is pure Mugen;it is very rare to find surviving pieces today. The body kit was fitted in Japan on a LHD car, that is a rare combination. And Wheel ****** would wet themselves for a chance to get those rare Mugen wheels.

To get this car from Saudi Arabia to my home in California.... I would take a ferry from Jeddah to Egypt, another ferry from Alexandria to Athens and then drive it from Athens to Hamburg. In Hamburg you could ship to North America, maybe even to the West Coast with a shipment of Mercedes and Audis.

Mugen is a part of history. All mugen parts serve a purpose and are really only cosmetic.

I looked it up and there was Mugen options available from the dealer when the very first CRXs came out in 84. But they were soon discontinued. I even found a sweet Mugen Catalog where you could upgrade all kinds of parts to the car.

All I am saying is that it doesn't seem all that worth it to get a Mugen car from there. And besides as of now there are no bids at all.
