Default Biggest tire size for prelude 97

I am getting new tires for my prelude. the stock size is 205 50 16. I found a tire that is a bit cheaper for a bigger size tire. they come in 215 60 16 and 225 60 15. was wondering how big of a tire I can put on there with out having issues! Thanks for any help.

I wanna get the 225s

You want a tire size with the same overall diameter as stock. That way you don't rub and the speedometer is accurate. Use this:

225 way more tread to the pavement than needed. Unless your car has 350hp or so, so that wide of tire may actually be needed. Will look cool yes, but worse gas mileage, and slower acceleration would not seem to make it worth it to me. Just my .02 tho
