Default new owner of a 99 sh (added pics) blown motor

all in a month, i sold a 93 del sol, moved up to a 95 integra special edition, then sold that to the neighbor for a 99 sh with a clean body, and blown block..
fortunatly, I have a f23 block that im going to use to put it back together.... hybrid section here I come..
I had a d16z6 in the sol, till hydrolocked the motor comming home, from cali. blessing in disguise if you ask me.. bought a b18a for 150 of craigslist, and since I had the transmision already. it was a piece of cake to do an auto to manual swap (honda-tech was very informative). most of the parts came from my old db8. so parts were already had, minus the motor.

then a 95 integra shell came along for 300, bought it, practicaly rebuilt it from the ground up.
took the swap from the sol, and put it in the teg... sold the del slow, shell.. for 200.

then the neighbor needed a car.. (although im not particularly fond of selling a vehicle to family/ and neighbors) but in this case... well its to late for that.. so

anyways a 99 sh was in craigslist. blown motor.. neighbor agreed to buy it in return for my car..
and well... this is where the story really starts.. I suppose...
I have an sh, with everything but a block.... I have a f23 that needs the bottom end rebuilt...or i suppose i could use that h23 block that i also have had, for like 6 years and rebuild that. which came with a JG port and polished head (stage 3)...
but more than likely it will be a g23 frankenstein.

Sounds like fun. Bear in mind you will need a new tranny and axles from a base model lude. Keep us updated!

Sounds like he's keeping the H22 head and putting it onto the F23 block. If that's the case, he won't necessarily need the base model transmission. Any non-ATTS H or F tranny would work. Obviously he'll need to replace one axle though.

True enough, guess I could have been a little more generic on the transmission, but just wanted to make sure the OP knows he'll need a different tranny either way. Good info as usual
