Hello. I recently bought a starter (Denso) for a 94 Civic DX 1.5L automatic California emission. I searched Denso first so that I could get the correct part no. (280-196). I then bought it thru autoparts123.com b/c it matched up w/ the same # but when my mechanic went to install it it was different than the one inside.
I would like to know if anyone has gone thru this & may know either the correct #/if u think ap123 may have just given me the wrong starter. I'm going to contact them of course.
