ok so i have a four door civic and its ideling really low. My car never had a map sensor on the tb until i swaped out the motor and put in a mini me swap. Also my car is miss firing. I was told to change the spark plugs. Cuz i changed the timing belt at a shop. Anyone have any idea whats wrong wit my car?

 

when you put the plug wires back on are you sure you put them on in the right order? also... When you changed the spark plugs are you sure you gapped them right? And are you throwing any codes?

 

the wires are put on right. I havent changed the spark plugs yet. I jus got the timingbelt changed. The code would come on once in awhile and when i turn off the car and turn it back on i goes away. I was told i jus need to change the map sensor. Cuz my old map sensor was not on the tb.

 

Yeah, try changing the map and see what happens.

 

i would but map sensors cost to much. So i have to look around junk yards or online
