LOL. 10.9 is fast to a lot of people out there. Nothing to be ashamed of, especially for a daily on 92 octane. Congrats!

 

I think this is the first Del Sol I have seen sitting on 235's. Thats what they look like in these pics. What does it run on those, ever tried it at the track with the 235's?

people love the see the low 9-8 second builds, but tend to forget not everyone owns shops or has 50k in budgeting lol.

cool man! what was your 330, 1/8th et, and 1k ft et?? The trap is very close to what mine did in the 1/8th on pump gas. I never got to run a 1/4 though... :/ Do you know how much power your car is making and how much it weighs??

 

I have a spec Twin disk now and i wouldnt sell it for the world, i daily drive it to work and around and the clutch feels like a bone stock honda clutch.

last year i had issues getting it into gear with the old clutch

We have a straight H22 GT3582r turbo car on pump (e85) running at 10psi going 11.30s

Hoping to turn it up a bit and get this heap in the 10s

PS: gonna need a cage soon!

 

No problem on giving a great and especially loyal friend/employee a hand. Car did turn in low 11s until we figured slicks were at 10psi(broken gauge). Set it to 6.5psi and instant 10sec run. Great driving and handling on the little, but heavy del sol from Simon aka 95exdsmkilla. Car can be tuned great, but it really takes even a greater guy with decent ***** to drive a car aggressively and correctly. Nice run nonetheless!!! It was nice watching a daily driver on 92 gas run a 10sec pass. Remember this del sol is really daily driven to work, grocery store, walgreens for viagra(hehe), mental institute(j/k...LOL), etc etc... Simple yet so effective!!!

upping the boost on 110/92gas and will be running thursday. hopefully turn in mid 10s and trap near 140mphs or more. we'll update!!!
