ok... quick question here.....
i got my a/c working!! yay!!!
but theres a problem....
and i dont know if i ever noticed it til today, but.............
my car has a crx dash conversion.
when i turn up the air full blast, it seems like its on the 1st position on the climate control guage.even going from position 1 to 4 theres a bit of difference.
now, i hear the blower motor blowing full blast..... but, it just blows weak out of the vents. are ef's like this or do i have a problem?
i dont know how it was before i put the dash in ,or after because i never used the vents. i only used the defroster.
well, i went digging around and screwed with alot of bolts. found a mouse nest in the dash....
blows the same...
messed with the box thingy behind the glove box...
blows the same...
is this normal, or is there a problem?
are there any "cabin filters", or anything that could get clogged up with debris in the air system?

maybe you have a bad blower motor resistor

 

what are the symptoms?
if it was a resistor... wouldnt it not work at all?
where is it located?

 

located on top of the blower motor 2 screw's and a plug mine was bad and it would only blow on 1 and 4 it is just some wires basically in it and in the box to help keep them cool they can get leaves and trash in it and cause them to burn up

 

well, i checked the resistor,... it looked fine, but i ordered one from honda today...
i also cleaned out that box beside the blower...
i pulled the blower down just enough to get a airline in there and blow some **** out.
a bunch of leaves came out but nothing major.
and it seemed to help it out just a hair.
next up resistor, then blower.
