switch sensor plugs. TPS and MAPS sensor. They both look the same and those are the symptoms of the sensor plugs being switched.

had this same problem on a prelude last week, spark plugs, wires, distributor, they were all ****ed, fixed those and the miss fire was gone, but we still had the problem of it bogging out and dieing? thought of a bunch of things sounded like the exhaust was plugged or the vaccumm messed, but all that has been mentioned, good luck.

I had similar problems when I was running the PR4, swapped in a P75 and it went away, couldn't explain it, but it worked for me.

same here, i let my friend borrow my p75 for ref and i completely forgot i had his pr4 and went to drive my car and it ran like crap.. i would bog and idle real low and shut off on its own, i switched the ecu back to my original one and it worked flawless since...

the reason why is because the pr4 has a knock sensor located at a diffrent pinning then the p72 so its kinda like if u had no knock sensor connected so its just better to run the p72

pr4 does not have a knock input and neither does an obd1 p75. hell i'm not sure if even the obd2 p75 ls had a knock sensor.

really no reason a p75 should work any better than a pr4.

PR4 is for the b18a1, p75 is for b18b1. Like I said, can't explain it, but it solved my problems 100%.

Pr4 and obd1 p75 ecu's do not look for a knock sensor, since the corresponding engines did not come with a knock sensor, period!!!

Your comparing apples to oranges!!!
PR4=b18a1 non-vtec 90-93 obd0/obd1(no knock sensor)
p72=b18c1 vtec 94-up obd1/obd2(has knock sensor)
p75=b18b1 non-vtec 94-up obd1/obd2(no knock sensor on obd1)

well anyways i can't do anymore testing on the car now, either myself fuel pump relay went out or the pump went bad but the the pump won't kick on at all so im probably going to just throw money at this and replace the relay and the pump then back to the issue at hand, thanks you guys

Negative. He is talking about an LS, why would he be better off running a GSR(P72)ECU rather than the LS ECU??

X2. And just for kicks, my P75 runs my LS Flawless also, never ran a PR4 though.
