Hi HT, any help would be greatly appreciated! EG with GSR Swap. Full wire tuck, PC680 in the trunk with 0 gauge. A week ago I accidentally reversed the polarity when trying to jump start this battery, from what I can tell it messed up the battery. Would this also fry the voltage regulator in the Alt? I am reading 14.66 at the battery. Is this too high? Please let me know if you need more info.

 

14.66 while running? or off? If it's off then replace battery

Thats normal. I would start to get worried if it went above 15V.

 

i could see 15 volts above an idle but even then i think your alt isnt supposed to let that get to the battery that hi, and 14.6 is right were it needs to be to insure that it keeps your battery and all the cars accesories with power to them, like if your lights and radio and ac were on, also when the car is off it should still be around 13 volts, eventually droppin to 12.6
