just pop it out with a flat head screwdriver. i had mine out when i did my satelite radio install, very easy

Sorry, I just realized what you were actually after...Mine actually just popped out last time I cleaned it, also popped right back in.

 

I'm pretty sure it has a screw holding it in. The left and right moving vent screens pop loose and you can pull them out to get at the screw with a bent screw driver. Just be careful because after you pop out the vents they tend to slide back down the smooth vent channel.
