my new eg hatch
well i had my rsx-s for six years and was ready to play with something new, so i sold my rsx and bought this 93 civic hatch with a gsr swap sc61 turbo kit, its tuned by tony at t1 racing on s300 putting down 295whp at 9psi of boost, it runs great and i know people think going from k series to a b series is a step down but i really love my new car and plan on fixing this thing up one piece at a time, so far i have done a mild wire tuck, put a intake on the turbo, added a endyn pcv breather system, i have a quick release steering wheel ready to go on and a dual core radiator in the mail, let me know what yall think
heres a few pics of my old rsx and my new eg

this manifold looks pretty legit, and for some reason it looks cast but has stainless steel stamped on it, its an inline pro manifold, i got this off of team-integra.net
This manifold is actually one of the most reliable, well-placed, durable, and requested manifold for Hondas and Acuras. Inline Pro is located in Virginia, and contains about 3 of the fastest street-classed FWDs in the country. They use a similar 304 or 321 Stainless steel design, that is short enough to be durable and allow turbulence, but long enough to allow flow for the top end. This manifold is capable of over 650whp for efficiency. These also come in a T4 design in which the flange for the wastegate is DIRECTLY in the middle for peak performance. they go for like 500$

you can do that and bring your 400hp car that ways 1500lbs more to the track and we will see who wins, now if i have the money to put a k series in my hatch in the future you bet i would put a boosted k20 in my hatch, but for now my gsr does the trick
I think your crazy. I would have kept the rsx not just for K series purposes either. Interior, ride quality etc.. anyways "to each its own" so I hope your happy with your civic.
you boost your stock b18 to 400hp and see what happens. it will cost you way more then having a car that already has a k series in it to boost to 400hp. im not saying a hatch is not lighter but in all reality a k20a2 or z1 will cost u over 7k just for the swap and u can buy a turbo kit for that for a k series
