It was nice to see some of the cars from ILL Garage make it out. Their stuff was flying yesterday. See you in a few weeks at IW #4.
All I have to say is it was a **** show for our car hopefully we get the bugs out and hit a ten.....if I pull one more 11.0 im gonna flip
Decent turnout. We decided to take Waldo's car out since the cage is now certified for 8.50. Radiator/Heating issue disabled the car to turn single digits. Getting that figured out as we speak. But, we did turn in a 10.9 run on Simon's daily driven H2B DelSol on 93octane. Big props to ILL for the single digit run. See everyone out next event.
I also think the points are off I had 50 last event and don't you get 10 for qualifying im number 833 I think we should have 60
I will still look into the situation.

It was a very decent turnout this time around. Hopefully we can get some more cars to come out for the pro fwd and get a full field.
It was nice to see some cars from Driver's Image come out and do some passes at the track. Greg should dust off the Civic and bring that thing out, if he still has it.
Beeyond from WI had a few cars out, which were moving out good.
Speedquest from the Waukegan area had a few out there as well.
Hopefully we see more shops come out from the Chicagoland area support this event. It's the only one in our area. GLD has been gracious enough to hold this event year after year despite poor attendance. They have taken requests from people that actually attend the events and have changed up the classes, so there is something for everyone. The more cars racing equates to more investment from GLD. This results into better track prep, faster times and bigger payouts for everyone.
I talk with the guys some of the guys over at Profunction and they should have a few cars ready for the next event, that should be very very competitive.
Don't hear much from RCauto, customers and cars, but I see them post on the GLD threads about bringing 3-4 cars and making it out, but don't see their cars out. I see build threads by those guys, so they should be able to deliver soon and get those cars to represent their shop.
Suja should be bringing a few cars out as well.
These are just a few Honda shops I know of, other shops should try and attend as well.

Yeah we missed the first 2 events, but we should have something out there for the rest of the year. We brought three cars and only one ran well. We're hoping to have 5-6 cars out there for the July 11 event.

I will also try to work with the track to get some line prep done before the qualifying passes and elimination passes for the PRO-FWD and Super Quick classes.

We'll be out there this year, just no set date, so busy with all of our work in the shop, customers come first. This week we're preparing for the ITR expo so those guys can race this weekend. Another long week...
