Where to get valve adjustment tool in town?
The only place I've seen the valve adjustment tool, is from the Snap on website. Do any common tools stores carry them, I've been to the local autoparts stores with no luck.
i got that tool. exactly as shown in the pic, it looks cheesy and feels very light. i've check other auto stores for a tool like that but they don't carry them, seems like snap-on is the only one that carries it. i haven't tried craftsmans yet, so check Sears, they got a catalog online too. also, honda should have their own. i used to do it a flat head screwdriver and 10mm wrench.
The tool is made for Snap-On and MATCO only. I have it and it is a really nice piece. However you can also do it the old-fashioned way with a wrench and screwdriver. We like this thing because it is so easy to work with. $45 is a bit of loot, but in the end a good deal. I've ordered from the Snap-On site without any problems BTW.
yep only snap on your best bet is if you have a friend who works at a body shop or repair garage/dealer have him get one for you....that's how i get most of my "special" tools...plus it's usualy a little bit cheaper...(a lot cheaper if you but bunch of stuff at once)
Sorry this isnt in town , but you could have it overnight shipped. I have a snap on one but if your pinching pennies you could get this whole set for half of what mine cost.

Thanks for the replies guys, there's a harbor freight store in town, I'm gonna go check it out. Also I've tried doing valve adjustment before with a screw driver and wrench and haven't had great results, takes forever to get it right. Plus a box end wrench doesn't fit so good down there in my b16
