hello i have a 97 prelude, base with a turboed a4 in it. i believe it has gone into limp mode but im not 100 percent sure maybe hoping someone can help it. first it wont idle. i start it, then it revs like it wants to stay running but then shuts right back off. if i give it gas when i go to start it, it runs but sounds like its mis firing. it also wont let me rev it past 4 grand. i have tried everything i can think of but i still dont know what is happening. any help would be greatly appreciated. also let me know if you need any more info about it. thanks.

 

CEL? What ECU? What tuning?

 

no cels. im converted to p28 ob1 with s100. tried resetting ecu and still doing the same thing. i work at a honda dealer and they cant even figure it out. im really at a loss

no cat. i accually think its in launch control but i dont know for sure. im gonna try swapping out my p28 for the stock a4 ecu and see how that goes. i will give an update this evening when i get home.
