how unreliable is this turbo kit?

Go ask in the civic or FI section. This is definitely not for an accord.

I'll give you the same response I gave to the post in the Civic forum:

Piece something together on your own. It can end up being even cheaper that way. There are some ebay kits that have parts you can trust, but others you should just stay away from altogether.

I wouldn't personally use an ebay kit, but I've seen them run successfully many times.
