Default Little Toyota Wheelie, this car has been around for awhile!

Boostdoctor's Corolla does wheelie @ NDaCut's Grudge wars

I got vids of this car somewhere from when he first brought it out like 10 years ago or so. Started out with a nitrous setup, then went to a Procharger setup, and now it's turboed. Has always been carburated and runs a blow through setup.

I got an old video where he raced an old friend of mine. My friend had a all motor EG hatch that ran 11's back in the day. This was when running 11's all motor in a Honda was the hard thing to do and some of the fastest all motor car's out were Tony Shagdays Integra and Jeremy Lookofsky's CRX. Anyways, the announcer got all into it and put up some $$ on the race. If I remember correctly, the Toyota on nitrous barely beat my friends hatch, both car's ran mid 7's in the 1/8th at this point. This car has been around for awhile and he still runs it, thats awesome!!! I wished that I could find the video of the race I saw and post it up.

Just thought that some others in here would like it.

Yep, go to Piedmont and run. Rico will talk it up big time, almost had me hyped up enough to run a Procharged Z06 Vette. Had the crowd ready to throw some $$$ in on it. I got scared though :-(

Ridden in it a few times. Its the scariest car I've ever ridden in, not purely related to speed, lol.

What up guys? Sorry for the late reply; but the Corolla is mine. Been working all day trying to get ready for Battle of the Belts in Nam. I should be ready for tomorrow(today lol).

Car dynoed 522rwhp at 25psi a while ago on a p-trim 66. Switched to a large frame 67......I just got to get the bugs worked out. My A1000 pump finally gave up after 8 years of use, so I replaced it with an Eliminator. I should be ready to turn up the boost now. I know I'm gonna need it for you fast Honda guys.

Here's the dyno vid.

So what has it ran with the new turbo? Got any track time with it since then?

I bogged of the line at the Rock and ran 10.15@140 on 22psi. Still working out bugs. Times should get much better.

You run anything for boost control on it, meaning is there any boost by gear or anything like that?

Dont worry, this car can get out the hole pretty good, the video tells that. Plus, over the past 10 years I have seen it get out the hole many times and hurt some peoples feelings!!

Yeah....gotta different setup from the wheelie vid. It's very fat on the bottom... so I'm going to lean it out a little first. Maybe a rear gear change if that doesn't work. My 60 ft was .2sec off from my norm on the 10.15 pass.

I'm only using a ballspring valve for low boost and a selonoid and bleeder for high boost. I havn't used the hi-boost yet with the current setup. It's set for 30psi.

Have you ever considered running fuel injection? Personally, I think its pretty cool that it is carbureted.
