Yet another eg ls turbo ques
Ok so we have a ls turo eg hatch it's a stock ls turbo I'm runnin peak hold rc injectors witch I was told I need a resistor box and there is not one there it's tuned on hondata s100 the car has slight bogging issues I beleive it's due to no r box can I jus install one or will it affect the tune pls lmk asap THANX HT
Your running Peak and Hold Injectors without a Resistor Box? Yeah, you def need a Resistor Box. They are like 25 Dollars on ebay. Buy one and then wire it up.
And yes, you will require a new tune. You will prolli be able to get more aggresive on your tune and make more horse power.

If it has peak and holds and no resistor box (or injector driver)...something aint right. usually that will fry the ECU.
You can get resistors from Radio Shack or one off an Accord, Prelude, Civic, Integra, DSMs... They all work. I have gotten a couple free before from my local junkyard. They shouldn't charge anyone more than $5.

buddy ive seen you post a bunch of questions and you never seem to get them resolved. if i was you id find a local import shop thats recommended and have them look it over. im sure there is someone near you.. or even a competent garage guru should be able to help you. but ya keep asking tons of questions and nothing seems to come of it. just tryin to help ya out man. just sounds like an expert needs to look this car over.
alternatively, if you arent comfortable with the wiring, you could just install some saturated injectors. then you dont need a box. either way i would get a re-tune and possibly find a new tuner. he should have spotted that you didnt have the proper fuel setup before tuning.
i would like to know who tuned it the first time or even how they managed to tune it correctly the fuel tables must look like trash. ignition timing, and fuel curves will be completely different once you put a resistor box in so yea id say you need a tune after.
if it runs with the resistor box maybe id make sure it never boost and have your waste gate arm held open if its an internal waste gate. if not i wouldn't install the waste gate untill u got there
So did a compression test here Is wat I got
145/135/125/135 but I saw people sayen u have to hold wot wen doin this Wich I did not but I doubt it's gonna make a diff so basically the motor is toast huh?

having the injectors wired worng wont blow your engine but it may burn a circuit on the ecu. just the injectors corrected and get a retune before making any other assumptions
So I'm gonna do the resistor box Asap wat do guys think is the best way to get it to the tuner will it be safe to drive it he is about a lil more than a hr away lmk wat u guys think thanks
