i got a f22a tranny is compatible with a h22a engine will it lose some power or will it work just fine

 

it will work just fine but the F tranny has longer gear ratios than the H22 so you fall out of vtec i would just get an H tranny but the good thing about the f22tranny that youll get better gas miles with it but i would def get a H tranny if i was u but it will work

 

so your saying i will go faster with f22 tranny

 

Literally faster: yes. Faster acceleration: no.

 

As long as he's not limited by the ECU (which may not even be a concern depending on the difference in final drive ratio). Mostly, I'm just seconding your post for OP.

 

yes I believe the H and F series transmissions and clutches are interchangeable between the 1990-2002 models.
