Hey I am installing a Full-Race traction bar and all the tow hook bolts line up and the passenger rear does to, but the driverside rear is about a bolt to half a bolts width off....
I called them and there sending me a different one incase the bar is wrong, Has anyone else had this issue before?

As far as I can tell the car has never been wrecked to oem cross member looks to have never been crunched and still bolts up....

 

hate to say it but your car was most likely in an accident and was repaired. My bar didnt line up either. but I massaged the bar onto the car with some small prybars and a small mallet.

 

mine was a tight install too. i think their measurements are slightly off.
i just started all the bolts, hammered a little, then tightened everything down. that was 4 years ago now...

 

Okay well there sending a different bar anyway, so I will try that one and see what I get... Worst case I will do some massaging myself to get it done... I was just in a hurry to get it done so I could get the car aligned before the JRSC goes on, since I have to travel to get it tuned and I don't want some ******* rodding the crap out of it untuned....

 

anyone know where i can get installation instructions for full race traction bars for an ek.. Full Race use to have it on their website.

yeah i had the same problem with mine they sent me another one and it went in like butter.... well alittle hard but still fit
