Default EM1: 16x7 +25 205/40 or 205/45

Is 45 to tall for +25 offset on 16x7s. I understand the pros and cons to both Sizes but I'm worried that if I decide on 45s for comfort it may rub.

Thanks

Select the tire that fits your car best, with the outer diameter that is closest to that of the stock tire size. On a 1999-2000 Honda Civic Si with 16" wheels, get 205/45-16 (or 215/45-16). Don't get 205/40-16, which is too small for your car (but is the best 16" size for '95 or older Civics).

I don't know about which offset is best for your car, but with the proper wheel offset, 205/45-16 shouldn't rub. It's actually slightly smaller in diameter than the stock size, 195/55-15.
