The head is only the beginning. What is your goal?

Piratemcfred has a thread on this swap in the prelude side.. There are also a couple more. Its more than just a "head swap". You must have a hybrid water pump.(H pulley on an F23 water pump body. You must also splice the water transfer tube. ( f23 tube into the block, H22 tube bolted to the manifold.) The front oil drain holes on the head must be blocked off. A machine shop did mine. They used little freeze plugs. If you run the F23 pistons, youll have only 8.8 comp ratio. I used K20a3 flat top pistons for about 10.5 comp ratio. There is also a nice writeup on this swap on HONDATUNING magazine. Just google G23 VTEC. Have fun!

I think you need to tap & plug up two oil passage hole on the H22 head and F23 water pump with H22 water pump gear. I'm sure there's more to it than this.
