Time budget Prelude build?
A buddy of mine recently wrecked his 92 F20A Prelude coming back from the ocean. He hit a hitch and impailed the radiator, and the hood is done. Today, he bought a full 93 prelude si with a seized H23A, and told me that when he takes off the radiator and hoses, exhaust (he just wants this one), hood, front bumper, hood latch, and condensor, I can have the car for 100 bucks. The transmission seems okay, but I'd definately replace the clutch. I found a full H22A swap, with H22a engine,H22 engine harness, OEM H22 Intake manifold (deleted butterfly valve), H22 LSD trans, Enjo Motor mounts (for an EG),ACT Stage 3 clutch, OEM flywheel, Axles and half shaft, Shift linkage, Shifter box, DC sports header, and DC sports alum spark plug cover. The swap has less than 50k on it. My question is, how long do you think all this would take? My friend did an H22 swap on his on his old prelude in about 3 days, and I need mine driveable ASAP. The car is clean, I'll get pics tomorrow after getting that parts off for him.
EDIT
Also, if we run into a snag, how much do you think a normal shop would charge, that way I can deduct from there what a certain problem would cost.

if you are better than your friend that did a swap in 3 days, it will take you less than 3 days. if you aren't as good, i'd get a shop to do the whole thing. i don't know of any shops that are going to start where you left off and not charge you for a whole install. save yourself some grief and get them to do it if your friend won't help.
It didnt take him 3 days, he did it in 3 days, still going to work. And if I were to have a shop do it, how much money am i looking at? and how much of a hassle am i looking at?
Everything you're asking is completely dependant on who is doing it. Make some phone calls to local shops that have experience with engine swaps to get some prices.
You know what you can and can't do.. If you think it's too risky to try to do it between your work schedule, then obviously have the shop do it.
Just to get a ballpark, I think the receipt from the shop the prev. owner of my car went to says 3000-3500 for an H22a and trans with labor. Possibly an ACT clutch at the same time, I don't remember.. But that was going from an F to an H.
