Default making white wheels gunmetal...

i have some white axis touring cups, i was going to sell them but don't have the $$ difference to buy new ones. i was wondering if air craft stripper would take them down to bare metal? they have some chips in the paint so i need to get them smooth before re-spraying? thanks for any idea's.

Aircraft/paint stripper will take most of it down to bare metal. You might have some primer that won't come off, so use some medium steel wool to rub of the rest. Remember to keep running water handy as the aircraft stripper stuff burns. Chemical burns
