Default Seatbelt and door ajar light

Hello.

I've been having this problem with my 90 si. Any time I hit the brake pedal, my door ajar light on the cluster and seatbelt light come on. On the top of the car, the seatbelt light constantly beeps like I do not have it on. My brake lights also do not work. I changed the bulbs and still don't come on whenever I push the brake. I had this problem in a different EF I owned before, and it was a ground, but the brake lights didn't have an issue. Would it be my brake pedal sensor/switch? I checked all the fuses and everything is fine. I checked grounds and everything SEEMS to be in order. Looking for any help I can possibly get! Any insight would be great, I would love to fix this!

-check fuse for brake lights, replace if its blown.
-check under the driver and passenger seat and make sure the seatbelt plugs are hooked up to the underside of the seats.
-brake switch has nothing to do with it.
-if you want to, remove the cluster and check to see if you have everything plugged in snug.

Well if it is what has happened in both of my ef's, just take the door panel off and disconnect the seat belt mechanisms, the parts that they wind into and lock when you slam on the brakes. They seem to always go bad around 200k miles. Then you just unplug the lights in the dash or it will keep dinging at you, and disconnect the sensors under the seats. Then you will have no more annoying seatbelt issues. Only down side is your seatbelts will no longer lock up if you slam on the brakes, just spend $50 on a 4 point harness if you want! I hope this helps, I spent two months tracking this down the first time, it eventually shorted out and drained my battery everyday. I'm pretty sure the seatbelt locking things just wear out, so searching for a faulty ground ended up being a waste of time. Later! And hope it works out!

to fix the chiming for automatic seatbelts look on the passenger side under the center console, pop off the lid to a black box thing and disconnect the green connector
