any insights regarding putting a type R recaro our of a Dc2 type r..???

1. which type r off?

2. will it fit straight on? or need some modifications?

3. which rails to fit?

i saw numbers of owners here that have them on there ludes...
i want too!!

But this is a good question. I have been wondering the same. I would buy some JDM Recaros to rock in my 4th gen.

Damn public school education! Im more interested in getting 96-97 del sol seats. Good luck though. Im sure youre able to get someone to mod the rails for you.

 

Having owned both a DC2 and a 4th gen prelude I can tell you that the seats would not swap strait across. Like everyone else has mentioned; I'm sure you could have someone modify the brackets to fit. Of course if you're going that rout you might want to expand your search for seats to recaros from more than the ITR. Lots of cars come with different models or recaros stock.
