90-91 LS distributor help?
I just bought a 90-91 LS distributor, I am going to put it on in the morning. Does it matter what "mounting leg" I saw off. My PR3 dizzy has bad bearings and the car runs like crap. I am mad that the dizzy I bought has those damn "hack saw" crimp/splice connectors clipped on, most likely for a "MSD ignition." Oh well, TIA.
Try to atleast bolt your top bolt in the saw the other 2 ...I cant remeber if you have to sae all 3 or not
Anyway sawing one adjustment mount off yes, two uhhh sounds "backwoods", all three off, hell nah.
What I was asking is if someone has done the distributor LS change onto a 88-91 B16A what adjustable mounting location did you saw off, what one is a "better" one to saw off? Tell me in reference to nearest the plug wire post on the cap for that adjustable mount. TIA.
Yea man its been forever sence i had to do this for a friend
Sorry for the info ...Id get the top on in for sure though and go from there ..I did jump the connector for timing to ...but the b16 went bye bye
