Hey, workin on a car. changing oil seal behind timing pulley on bottom of motor.



this pin has to come out before the pulley/gear comes out.

this pin is stuck.

this pin is pissin me off.

I've tried low heat, pliers, hammering from all directions, vice grips, cussing, punching, verbal abuse, and seduction.

what haven't I tried and how the Fvck am i gonna get this b!tch out. don't want to leave my car on jackstands for days .......

btw i even poured beer on the pin in a desperate attempt to get these parts to loosen up and let go and just fckin relaxx and do what they are sposed to.

and i had a stripper come over and do a dance but that mighta just made this pin harder >.<

any suggestions welcome, i'm about to drill this mvthafvcka out in a fit of rage.

 

LOL. TRY PUTTING SOME BRAKE FLUID ON IT. IF YOU HIT IT WITH ANYTHING MAKE SURE IT IS BRASS SO YOU DO NOT DAMAGE THE KEY OR CRANK

hahahahahahahahahahahaha, sound like my kind of attitude only i wouldn't waste beer on it.

anyhow did you try taking a small flat chisel and and tapping under the edge of it cause it looks like a half-moon style keyway and that usually works for me, but it also looks as if the gear is supposed to come off first then the key

friggin hysterical. totally worth making this reply lol. like nichelson said i think sticking something like a small flathead screwdriver under the opening and jamming it in there is probably your best bet to pry it out.
