Default Clutch not Disengaging

I just became the proud owner of a 90 coupe that has a f22b1 and the trans out of a 94-97 accord (P2u5).

When I bought it my friend told me he thought it needed a new slave cylinder. When the car is off you can row through the gears just fine, but when it's on you really had to fight it into gear. Yesterday I put a new slave on it and bleed the system over and over and over. It never really seems to get right. I was able to drive it but it would always become hard to shift again after a few minutes of driving. But the pedal never seemed to go away. it just wouldn't go into gear.

The master is also reasonably new and isn't showing any noticeable leaks. Visual inspection doesn't show anything that's leaking.

In between the master and the slave there are 2 other "things". The first you come too from the master has to hardlines going into a small cylinder. Then one of the hardlines comes out of that and attaches to a rubber line that goes to something ontop of the trans and hardline comes out of that to the slave. This is my first honda and I'm not sure what these are could the be part of my problem? If so any part#'s would be awesome I really wanna get this straightened out.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Hmm... the problem you're having doesn't seem to have anything to do with your slave or master cyl at all if there's full pressure(hard) at the pedal.

Have you change out your MTF?? Mine did the same thing when I had water in there from washing the tranny.

I haven't changed it but I checked the level and it seemed fine. Maybe I'll give that a shot though.

How much free play do you have in the pedal? Too much would cause the clutch to not disengage fully.

Yeah, change it and see if it'll help. My MTF was full til I saw that it was coffee color and sorta milky; thats what was causing it not to go in gears at all when engine is running.

I checked the adjustment on the pedal and I'm using as much of the throw as possible.
