90 civic std pass side mirror help!
soo i have a mint 90 civic std hatch that ive swapped a b16 into. car has noo rust and looks great except for theres no passenger side mirror on the door. just a damn blockoff plate. good ol std came with no side mirror, ac, or dash clock from the factory of course. ive bought at least 3 diff mirrors oem and aftermarket but they never fit. 1 bolt lines up thats it. is the std door just not meant for a mirror?
I never had a problem installing a mirror onto my car (91 STD). It's meant to have mirror. Maybe you just have wrong ones? CRX maybe?
I'll buy the blockoff plate off you.
I have no mirror and no blockoff...
Buy the mirror for the corresponding year/model of your car.

well when i buy one thery never say 90 civic std exactly. its always listed as 88-91 civic/crx. they never specify. the mirror i just bought was from a 91 civic hatch. i even took the side mrror off my 91 si and it didnt fit either. would the dealer have a mirror even tho this model didnt come with one?
Maybe you aren't placing it right? The doors between Standard models, DX, and SIs aren't different the holes should line up, go to a pick and pull junkyard instead of a wreckers, don't even try the stealership.
there are no mirrors left at any junkyards around me, ive been looking for one since i bought the car 2 yrs ago. either broke or already missing. thats what i dont get. the doors shouldnt be diff at all. i can get 1 bolt on the hole up top but the others dont line up right at all. ive wiggled it and everything

wish it was that easy. mine just isnt lining up for some damn reason. ive got 3 aftermarket mirrors and 2 oem that just dont fit right
haha I hand that same problem like last week but the other way around w/ my 91 sedan.
But as luck has it I actually tried a side mirror from '90 hatchback, it didn't fit, but I still have the mirror
its an OEM manual one w/ the lever thing and its got all the original hardware including the interior panel part. Its a bit scratched up but I bet it'll work for you.
