Ok so im trying to replace my wheel bearings and get my knuckles off. Both sides, since i bought my car from a tard, the upper ball joint castle nuts are rounded off very very badly and rusted. How can i get them off? I've already on one side, literally cut trhough the ball joint stud and got one knuckle off, but its a pain in the *** and now the stud is stuck in my knuckle and i cant get it out either but its off the car at least.

I usually take my dremel tool and cut the nut(the up and down way) in a few different places and hit it with a chisel a couple of times... had to do it on my lower ball joints cause I messed up the threads

 

I had to do this on my suspension as well. The nut will fall off and you can tap the bolt out with a mallet.

 

Try using a punch to punch out the stud?
