Default CB7 Fuse Box Outputs

Hmm.. Lol. Well I need you experts to teach me a thing or two about running power wires in the car..

I ran a wire that comes from the constant 12v in the fusebox.. It's 18gauge.. Lol. Now here's the information..

It's currently powering my alarm brain/backup battery(puts power to the parking lights.. domelight) (python 991) .. The three wires from the brain that power the remote start.. The relay for the trunk.. The relay for the sirens.. The relay for the clutch kill..The relay for the horn.. And The relay for the dome light... Lol. Is that 12v source sufficient? And should I at least use a thicker guage of wire.. Or is what I have fine? The wires that the power wire powers are all roughly the same gauge.. except for the 3 remote start power wires which are A size smaller than 10gauge..

The only fused wires are the ones that go into the alarm.. And the ones that are for teh remote start.. I read somewhere that relays should have 1amp Inline fueses on them.. Is that true?

you only need a primary power wire large enough for the fuse that you have installed in the lead from the battery to the brain unit. If the brain unit has, say, a 5A inline fuse, then you only need a power wire large enough for 5A going into the brain unit. Any external relays that you have the brain activating need their own fused power wire from the battery voltage source with the appropriate amp rating required by the device being operated by the relay.
