I was wanting to know what or where would be the best place or site to get red carpeting an custom dash board an interior for a 93-97 delsol any info is very much appreciated

 

what do you mean "custom" dash?

 

Well if you were going to do the work yourself you could probably find the material you needed at any fabric store (clothing, upholstery, and automotive). If you wanted someone to do it you could probably hit up a custom stereo shop but expect to pay some MAJOR cash to do it. Plus its kinda tacky...my opinion though!

i am sort of just wanting something different lol. the one thing i would really like to get my hands on is a nice acrylic glass targo top they are really nice i cant find them anywhere lol.

 

yeh you're bored and you want to work on your car because you have nothing else to do. been there. don't go ruin your car, that's a massive project and i doubt you have the skill to pull it off without fVckin your sol up. i don't mean to hate, but i speak from experience. all the times i was bored and decided to make permanent/unalterable changes to expensive oem parts which work perfectly already.

take your motor apart and adjust your valves or something, you'd learn more relevant and important stuffs than butchering a dashboard.

unless you're a pro of course and have access to a limitless supply of resin and fiberglass, matting and cloth, foam of varying thicknesses, lots of specialty tools, unlimited time, and enough patience to redesign something that teams of engineers took years to perfect.

you could always just get some spraypaint and rattle can random parts of the dash.

 

and you can buy a oem replacement carpet from company called stockinteriors or something. look it up, search.....

but don't put a red carpet in an electric blue or hunter orange del sol. i have one, and black suits it nicely. maybe you don't get mud on your feet.

if i paint the car electric blue i will more then likely 2 tone the interior as well as the exterior blue an black with a little silver flake in the exterior paint lol girls love the shiney lol.

 

im doing a d16 full swap on my delsol right no she is anauto d15 so i want to start small for my first honda swap lol so when i do the swap i will more then likely do the interior at the same time take the console an rear storage an all that out an the seats so i can lay the new carpeting right now my center console is broke when i got it an same with my glove box but i only paid 500 dollars for her lol thats a deal lol.

if you can't get it done there its probably cuz you shouldn't do it. thats only for your carpet though.

those glass tops are awesome. super expensive im guessing. i've only ever seen pictures of em. id imagine its a small time thing or they're custom made.

 

they are for circulation just really hard to find cause i dont think there is a name for them lol my buddy had a cheap crappy one an all it was though was a custom cut peice of plexy glass mounted to the frame off the targo brace an was window tinted the problem was one of the seals went bad an the tint came off lol an looked like crap but i wouldnt mind trying it just to say i tried lol.

 

The clear top you're talking about is called an Ameripol top. They come in blue tint and bronze tint. They cost several hundred dollars or you can send your stock top into the company and have them make one for you. Both will set you back several hundred dollars though.

It's also not for circulation. It definitely didn't cool down the del Sol we have here.

no lol not color i mean what brand i already know what color im going to do black with blue accents the carpet is going to be as black as i can get then im getting black an blue floor matts an my gf is going to stich an embroyder the words Del sol with the big H in the middle lol then im going to try an find a nice set of blue an black racing seats those i really dont care about brand as long as they are comfy lol.
