Default how low can i go with stock shocks and 205/50 15's?

95 civic looking to buy coilovers or lowering springs. jhpusa has the d2racing springs on sale for $97 but im not sure how low of a drop i can go without rubbing. ive got stock struts and springs, there is about 3fingers of gap in my wheel well, dont have a measure tape right now to measure. just dont want to order and have them rub my newly painted car lol. how much gap can you have and not rub during bumps and such?

Not too sure about that, but it will be a bumpy *** ride. I think you should save up for some shocks, I wouldn't risk the paint job.

aftermarket lowering springs will destroy oem shocks. aftermarket springs don't use as much of the travel due to a stiffer spring rate and oem shocks aren't designed for this.

koni yellows and ground control for 1200 bucks. ftw.

and yeh, coilovers are second up.
