Default 1998 dx hatch b16a Vtec help

i bought a 1998 civic dx hatch with a b16a in it vtec is not hooked up at all How do i hook vtec up! i want it done right and no one where i live seems to know what there doing.

this has been covered 9000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 times. search? you need to run wires from vtec solenoid, tap into ecu harness, put in vtec ecu.

this is why i never buy a swap already done. what ecu is in the car? is it still obd2 or obd1? soo theres no wires whatsoever to the solenoid or anything?

check for vtec solenoid and wires. check the harness, if there is no plug on the wiring harness for vtec you have to run your own wires. into the ecu. then change ecu's if you don't have the vtec ecu.

then your gonna need the p72 if you want vtak yo! obd 2 right? have a jumper harness handy?

a jumper harness is for covertiving obd2 into obd1
